Dobro ba is a nonprofit organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina dedicated to serving people in remote and inaccessible villages. The organization provides orphan support and implements a variety of relief projects, working closely with partners such as Pomozi.ba, Islamic Relief, and Emmaus.
"It is especially important to us that through this project we are currently supporting two orphans from Jablanica, who survived a family tragedy in the recent floods in the area. Their future is now more secure thanks to scholarships from Afterfund, which allow them to continue their education and the opportunity for a better tomorrow."

After 6 months, donations grew from halal investments on average 13.4%.
Donors got their dashboards in which they could see how much their donations grew, and the perpetual impact they are creating.
During the night of 3–4 October 2024 devastating floods in Bosnia cost many lives, including the parents of two children.
When everyone was panicking and fundraising, Dobro.ba had the profits to provide immediate stipends for these orphans.

Donations stay invested to continue growing and providing help to flood orphans.
As new donors donate to the fund, the capacities are expanding to continuously support other orphans as well.
Afterfund can help charities create emergency funds like Dobro.ba’s Orphans fund to prevent urgent appeals when the emergency strikes - whether that’s an earthquake, flood or something else.
Instead of being reactive and fundraising after the problem happened, growth from invested donations can provide relief without emergency fundraising, while the original donations can stay invested to continue growing and help with future emergencies as well.

This type of Afterfund not only helps an organization prevent urgent appeals, but also enables donors to get continuous good deeds, making them automatically participate in future emergency reliefs.

As Afterfund legacy continues, you can join our journey in two ways:
Chi-Care’s Afterfund grew and its returns funded 3 meal drives. Chi-Care is now automatically investing a portion of every donation in its Afterfund for continuous income.
IOST, a masjid in upstate New York, established continuous income for their library with Afterfund.
